James Tanneberger

James is CEO of Accord Telecommunications Collaborative (Accord). He also serves as CEO of SCI REMC and SCI Fiber based in Martinsville, IN.  James has worked in the power industry for 26 years while also dabbling in the internet service provider space since 1998. He has had leadership roles in three startup companies: FELPSIS.net, SCI Fiber, and now Accord Telecommunications Collaborative. Accord is an active regional middle-mile consortium in Indiana and surrounding states. It was formally established in December 2022.  James has a heart for collaboration and bringing people and companies together in new and creative ways. As a result, Accord enjoys a unique membership makeup of 16 electric cooperatives and 10 telephone companies all dedicated to improving life in rural America.
