Matt Fennell

Matt Fennell is Manager of Fiber Services of Tombigbee Fiber, LLC the subsidiary of Tombigbee Electric Power Association. He has been with Tombigbee in various roles for 21 years. Matt was assigned to the Tombigbee Fiber broadband project in 2019 as the broadband subsidiary Tombigbee Fiber, LLC was created. Today, Tombigbee Fiber has over 25,000 active subscribers. He is a graduate of Itawamba Community College, the University of Mississippi, and Arkansas State University with a master’s in public administration. Matt has a passion for serving the members and customers of Tombigbee Electric and Tombigbee Fiber along with serving his community. After serving three terms as alderman of the Town of Mantachie, he currently is in his second term as Mayor. Along with being Mayor, Matt serves as a board member of the Itawamba County West Side Food Pantry, Itawamba County Development Council, Itawamba Community College Business and Marketing Management Advisory Board, Calix Marketing Advisory Board, and the Calix Customer Service Advisory Board. Matt also serves in various leadership roles in his local church and the local Lions Club chapter. He resides in Mantachie, MS with his wife Julie.
